a live performance memory
not technically a music story, but once i went to see a moderately famous spoken word poet and he tossed one of his pens into the audience (who WAS this clown? why'd he do this rockstar move?) and i caught it with one hand. he was mid-poem and lost his train of thought because of my catch, and he was like damn, you ruined my flow. true story, and still the only time in my life i've displayed any semblance of athleticism! sorry guy!
